Sometimes, titles of articles hit a personal note; Prof. Ken Taylor was extremely involved in the training and education of perfusionists and was present when this humble nurse (wannabe perfusionist) took their practical exam for the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Next to the Y2K bug, we were heavily hit by the OPCAB-plague around that time, and there was no pump run on the day of the exam, but somehow (sometimes, the truth needs a shroud of mystery), we went from Wannabe to Havetobe
