Tiny Perfusion Letter

We can safely assume that cardiac surgery still is the discipline with the highest relative consumption of blood products

Many perfusionists are also responsible for cellsavers, acute normovolemic hemodilution, and hopefully member of a Patient Blood Management (PBM) Committee in the center where they work

Therefore, we’re focusing on some of the many resources available online on PBM, next to the more traditional literature sources

There is a TON of information out there on PBM, with many societies and possibilities for networking, listening to podcasts, attending conferences and email alerts
