Here is some news that caught our eyes 🫣 (that is the first cringe part of the news). It's a real eye-opener 🫣.

It's not the news that’s cringe, it's the way we’re bringing it for your eyes to see 🫣. Just close your eyes 🫣 and embrace it. Researchers at the University of Miami have developed an eye-ECMO. It's a little box - called the eye-HOLDER - that is hooked to an actual ECMO to keep a donor eye perfused for implantation into a recipient. Just look at it 🫣! There is also a video here that you can look at 🫣 and they have published the initial cadaveric pilot here. The researchers envision 🫣 that it would make eye transplantation possible in the foreseeable 🫣 future. Let's keep an eye open 🫣 for the first clinical application so we can actually believe it with our own eyes 🫣. Wait and see…🫣
