Did you and your team know that it is Patient Safety Awareness Week?

Well, you know it now, so there’s no excuse. This is a good time to reflect on your patients, your practice and your team. What are you doing to ensure that your patients are safe during the time you care for them? What could you eventually do better? How can you improve your own skills to help better the patient and their environment?

For the occasion, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has iterated a new version of their TeamSTEPPS (3.0) Pocket Guide, which is a handy tool to evaluate and improve your team performance. And there is so much more out there!
